National Recycling Week 2022

With the world’s focus on the protecting the environment and helping the planet, National Recycling Week is a timely reminder for us all to reduce, reuse and recycle. These actions help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, prevents pollution and conserves natural resources and energy.

With Planet Ark’s theme for 2022: “Waste isn't Waste until it's Wasted”, we are keen to highlight the critical role that recycling, reducing and reusing materials plays in our operations and our efforts to contribute to a more sustainable world. We reduce, recycle and reuse numerous materials throughout our operations by better planning with the aim of reducing waste to landfill including landscape materials, green waste, furniture, play equipment, packaging etc. As part of our ISO-14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification, we use recyclable, sustainable and durable materials when creating new parks, plazas, playgrounds, outdoor fitness and sporting facilities for the community.
