Enticing Urban Green Space

Residents of inner-city Camperdown are jubilant with the completed improvement works at Lyons Road Park, incorporating outdoor fitness equipment and a relaxing, inviting green space.

The new central mosaic path is a focal point which intertwines throughout the Park, connecting the two adjacent streets. Complemented with new entrance fences, together with the planting of mature palms creating much needed shade, this green space is further enhanced with shrubs and groundcover. Drinking fountains, lighting, bollards, bins and generous seating have been provided with open turf areas crafting a space for the whole community to enjoy.

Our initial works for City of Sydney Council encompassed removal of existing park facilities including seating, earthworks, grading, drainage, electrical and paving.

These considerable improvements meet the needs of the growing surrounding neighbourhood, delivering improved facilities and access, whilst simultaneously providing a vibrant place for locals to exercise and unwind!
