Hamptons Inspired Revitalization

KURNELL, SUTHERLAND SHIRE
Residential

Hamptons inspired revitalization for this high end, sought-after property located in Sydney’s south, Kurnell was certainly one of a luxurious kind!

French-patterned silver travertine pavers created a dramatic and impactful entrance direct from curbside, incorporating bespoke arc detailing, together with a front entry circular paving feature, and custom-made travertine brick edging.  The soft tones of the travertine contrasted with dark asphalt, providing dramatic street appeal, whilst incorporating the integrity of both form and functionality.

The custom-designed travertine works flowed throughout, past a tailor-made, oversized rear driveway entrance privacy gate into the secret courtyard garden, perfect for entertaining or lazing the day away in the north facing sun-drenched area.  Framed by raised garden beds and a water feature incorporating fountains, external directional wall and underwater lighting, the mood created was that of pure sophistication and opulence!

Travertine stepping pavers draw you from the courtyard, under and around the now relocated and transplanted 50-year-old Frangipani tree featuring directional up lighting, into the curved and peaceful garden, transporting you into your own private sanctuary encased by the up lit canopy of the mature native gum tree.

Drainage works were incorporated to ensure the new garden, further featuring the addition of a sandstone-stepper garden pathway with an assortment of edible fruit trees, bushes, herbs, and complemented turf, which will look simply spectacular for years to come.

Dear Glenn and Team,

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the works carried out at my Kurnell residence. Our courtyard ‘secret garden’ with water feature and bespoke driveway is everything I could have hoped for. The attention to detail was crucial and you guys delivered perfectly!

You’ve managed to create my design brief plus resolve all my existing drainage issues along the way, nothing was too much trouble. Even relocating our treasured 50 year old Frangipani tree to its new courtyard location went without a hitch, and is thriving in its new location!

Many thanks again for all your efforts, did an amazing job. Highly recommend Growth Civil Landscapes!!
