National Park Beauty
Remarkable upgrades at Turrella Reserve in Earlwood have recently been completed with significant improvements to the recreational areas of this Reserve, located within Wolli Creek Regional Park, as part of the Turrella Reserve Precinct Plan for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
This beautiful natural space, rich in cultural and environmental significance, has been enhanced to offer a more accessible and enjoyable experience for all! The updates include:
• A brand-new playground with a timber multiplay structure with bridge and slide, swings, and a nature play area featuring a seesaw, steppers and balancing logs
• Outdoor exercise equipment for those looking to stay active in nature
• New covered picnic shelters with a BBQ facility, perfect for family and group gatherings
• New amenities building and a water fountain for convenience
• Improved pathways connecting picnic areas, toilets and the Two Valley Trail, ensuring access for everyone, including visitors with mobility challenges
These upgrades not only make the Park more inclusive, they also strengthen its’ role as a living classroom for local schools and environmental education groups.
We’re proud to have been part of this important NPWS project, enhancing the accessibility and enjoyment of this precious green space for the entire community!
