Scenic Leisure Precinct

Construction of the playground and outdoor gym at Schoeffel Park at Horningsea Park has now been completed and we were proud to collaborate with Liverpool City Council again on such a significant, high quality project. This project, forming Stage 2 of this $2.2 million leisure facility, included installation of a shaded children’s playground, outdoor gym and two carparks, delivery of landscape works as well as provision of new pathway linkages.

The new playground designed for younger children includes a slide, double swing, hoop rockers, inclusive carousel, and musical instruments such as a xylophone and drum. The project also included an outdoor gym with 15 equipment stations, two 20-space carparks and installation of park furniture including shade sails, water refill station, seating, shelters and bike racks complemented by soft landscaping.

It will be marvellous to see the local Horningsea Park community using the new recreational facilities that we constructed. This Park will be such a wonderful asset to the local area allowing people to enjoy the fresh air in a healthy, active way!
