The upgrade works to the Janice Crosio ELC provided children with a revitalized and fresh outdoor play space. The area has been transformed, enabling children to let their imaginations run wild, as they explore, discover and connect with nature in their newly created outdoor environment!
The dinky bike track offers a new element of fun, and encourages physical activity. The reuse of onsite boulder rocks for garden edges, together with sandstone crazy paving and planting, complement this contemporary transformation. A facelift was given to the existing sandpit breathing new life into this play area, with the adjoining synthetic turf opening up a world of opportunities for imaginative games and play!
The children can experience a wide range of activities, whilst having fun and learning about sustainability as they plant and water the garden, engage with the implemented natural materials, and assist in the maintenance of the worm farm and compost bin.
